Each Italian consulate serves a specific jurisdiction — you must submit your documents to the consulate responsible for the state where you reside. If you are unsure which one is yours, ask me in the form.

What have people been saying?

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my translation be accepted at the Italian consulate?
I follow the exact guidelines of each Italian consulate in the U.S. when translating. If for any reason the consulate requests an adjustment, I will correct it at no additional cost until approval.
Do I need to send the original document by mail?
No. Just send a clear photo or PDF through the form on the website. You receive the translation as a PDF by email, ready to submit.
What's the turnaround time?
Between 3 and 7 business days after payment confirmation. The exact timeline is included in your quote, based on the quantity and length of the documents.
Do you offer Notary services?
I don't offer notary services. For Italian consulate vital records, notarization of the translation is not required.
Does the Italian consulate require a certified translation?
No. Italian consulates in the U.S. accept translations done by the applicant themselves or by a professional translator — they evaluate whether the translation is faithful, complete, and correctly formatted, not who produced it. There is no requirement for notarization or official certification of the translation itself.
Does the apostille on my document need to be translated?
No. The apostille is an authentication stamp on your original document — it certifies that the document is genuine, but its content does not need to be translated. You submit the original document (with its apostille) alongside my translation. The consulate reviews both separately.
How does payment work?
After approving the quote, payment is made by credit or debit card through Stripe, securely and directly on the website.
